Scary costumes for Halloween
Do you like dressing up and going to fun costume parties during Halloween? While it is all in the name of good fun, wouldn’t you want to take a shot at being a little more daring with your Halloween costume this time around? When I say daring, I don’t really mean it is something that is overtly sexy or makes you look like a cheap tart. What I am trying to suggest here is for you to try to go over the “wild side” with your costume, instead of dressing up as a Disney Princess (if you are a girl) or one of the Jonas Brothers (if you are a guy) why don’t you try to actually look scary in the spirit of Halloween? Well it would be totally appropriate since it is Halloween and supposedly a time where everyone can just scare the pants off each other. But do not just come up with a lame excuse for a costume like a dead bride wearing a cheap, tattered wedding dress smeared with corny syrup and red lipstick, try to be more inventive! These days, it is easy for you to find inspiration for a cool Halloween costume, even if you will look scary, it doesn’t mean that you will look like a total loony.
Have you ever tried wearing one of those mummy Halloween costumes, your hilly billy cousin might have attempted to wear one before right, with cheap gauze? Or have you ever tried making an imitation of those mummy Halloween costumes with your friends? Back when you were little, wasn’t it fun to just get rolls and rolls of toilet paper (without your mothers knowing), and to wrap in all over your bodies to make it look like one of those mummy Halloween costumes that you still couldn’t afford to get.
Well now that you are all grown up, you now have the ability to spend a little more on your Halloween costume, so why not try a little harder at scaring the socks of your friends at this year’s Halloween party? It might take a little more effort though, but you can easily get one of those mummy Halloween costumes from any one of those costume rental shops, just make sure that whatever you will be borrowing from these costume rental shops, may it be a mummy Halloween costume or not, is clean! You never know what kind of person used that mummy Halloween costume before you.
Come Halloween night, have a friend or sibling over to help you dress up in your mummy Halloween costume, obviously, when it comes to Halloween costumes, mummy Halloween costumes are definitely one of the toughest ones to pull off, as well as to put on. So you need a few extra pair of hands just to get the look right. Also, while you are putting on your mummy Halloween costume, do make sure that you can breathe, see, and walk properly in it, otherwise, you would not get the desired effect from your friends. Instead of scaring them, you might actually just make them laugh if you look like a drugged up, drunk Hollywood B-lister covered in gauze.
