Kids Costumes for Doctor Themes
Halloween is drawing closer, you’re racking your brain trying to come up with the perfect costume for your child – something that will be adorable, easy to pull off, and won’t cost much. What to pick? How about a doctor costume! Kids costumes for doctor themes are easy to pull off, and produce a very dramatic effect.
For a simple doctor costume, your child can wear simple black pants (dress pants are preferred for realism, dark jeans would also work if you had to improvise), with a white or blue shirt (a button-down or a light colored t-shirt even works). Green scrubs (both tops and bottoms) with light colored tennis shoes is the basic surgical costume. A face mask (the medical kind that covers the mouth and nose) with the matching hair cover is a must for this costume, along with the stethoscope and a clipboard. If you want to go all out, throw in the white lab coat too and your child will be outfitted to the tooth in the ultimate in kids costumes for doctor themed parties.
The great thing is that girls can wear these costumes as well, with little or no modification! Pink scrubs are a sure hit when it comes to girls outfits. The doctor theme is great for groups of kids wanting to dress up together. They can pretend to be a staff of doctors, or an elite surgical team.

Begin dressing as a standard doctor, but wrap “bandages” (cut lengths of white fabric or white sheet) around the head, arms, and legs. You can hi-light the bandages with fake blood (most stores sell it with the costumes), and then your child can walk around like a zombie. Nothing looks creepier than blood on a white lab coat!
